In August 2022, I took the decision to step away from the corporate world to start my own maths tuition business in East Grinstead, West Sussex. I now have 20 students, to whom I mostly teach maths, and give the occasional helping hand with physics/science. I have a much more relaxed way of life, and have widened my local social network 10 fold, at least.
Every day, I am grateful for my outstanding secondary education. The rigorous teaching I received has meant that even topics I thought I’d forgotten come back to me quickly and easily. My thanks to Dr Parrot, Dr Cox, Mr Metcalfe, Mr Bowles, Dr Griffiths, Mr Harvey, Mrs Norman, and Mrs Cura for a fantastic education, and to the late Elizabeth Ward for leading such an optimal learning environment and always believing in me.
