Laura has done remarkably well in her 200 metre butterfly swimming career in the last few years.

In the 2019 World Aquatic Championships she reached the final and in 2022 represented England at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, winning two medals.  That year she won the gold medal at the British Swimming Championships, and again this year.  She has also just won the gold at the World Aquatic Championships in Doha – Britain’s first global title in a women’s individual event for 13 years – the last winner being Rebecca Addlington.

Laura has also been part of the British Women’s relay teams.
