The winners were acknowledged for their extraordinary achievements and their contributions to their schools, colleges, or clubs. Each winner received a medallion, a

Councillor Lesley Scott-Boutell, mayor of the city of Colchester, who presented the awards, said: "It is so important that all the outstanding work that our young people are doing, however small, is seen and recognised and that a thank you is given."
The Jack Petchey Foundation has invested more than £699,000 in Colchester since funding began.
