Since our last newsletter we have had several successful events, many of which have been requested again for next year.

I tried an experiment this year of listing all our proposed meetings in the newsletter at the beginning of the year. All Old Girls seem to be so busy that I thought it a good idea to give you all as much notice as possible. To enable everyone to have a chance to participate I do try to vary the days of the events each year, whenever this is possible.
Our last occasion to meet will be lunch at the Siege House, Colchester, on Friday, 20th October. I had originally asked for numbers for this lunch by 13th October, but due to my change of plans for October, it would help if you could let me know as soon as possible if you wish to come.

In May we had a Chinese Lunch at Bamboo House (left), then another lunch following the AGM at the School.
We had our annual Garden Party during August, once again in Liz White’s garden at Lexden (below); everyone appreciated her kindness in hosting such an enjoyable event and providing such a delicious tea. In mid-September we held a Coffee Morning at Grey Friars (below left) and nearly thirty members attended.
