This half term we congratulated our European Youth Parliament team, (left) who having completed competitive debates around such challenging topics as toxic masculinity; the plight of refugees and the importance of reducing the digital divide between Europe’s younger and older generations; have been successful in progressing to the National Finals in Liverpool in July.

Choral Groups

CCHSG has always prided itself on the range and quality of our extracurricular opportunities. This term over 150 members of our extracurricular choral groups received additional tuition in a workshop delivered by world renowned choral conductor Tori Longdon and, supported by Mrs Jefferies, took part in the Charter Hall schools prom concert.   (right) Tori Longdon with Sixth Form Choral leaders

Lunchtime and After-School Clubs

Current offerings are now listed on the website for student reference and it is very pleasing that data shows 92% of students are attending at least one extracurricular activity each week.

You can read more about events and activities at CCHSG in the half termly e-newsletter.
