Since the last newsletter we have enjoyed several events. Members visited the School for the AGM and were delighted and somewhat amazed with the presentation video of the School (a drone was involved) given by Kate Stubbs, our School Liaison friend.
The Garden Party at Liz White’s home was, as usual, very well attended and the weather co-operated.
I am counting the open invitation to meet up for coffee at First Site as a success. This is because last time I suggested this option, three of us attended at a local hotel. In September, 6 of us met at First Site. Percentage-wise I consider I am now winning with an event of this type!
At the time of writing this, the Grey Friars Coffee Morning (17th October) still has to take place and that will be the final meeting for the year.
